Alberta Association of Library Technicians (AALT) is dedicated to fostering and enhancing the professional image of Library Technicians. AALT was formed in 1974 to help promote a wider understanding and acceptance of the Library Technician's status in Alberta and to assist in the implementation of recognized provincial education standards.

October 25, 2008 The call for the AALT 2009 Conference - "Celebrate!" is now available. Stay tuned for more details as they come available.

October 4, 2008 The Summer 2008 issue of the AALT Technician is now available in the Members Only site. The Journal Co-Editors are now accepting articles for the Fall 2008 issue. Submission deadline is October 15, 2008.

July 14, 2008 AALT Job boards are once again operational. Thank you for your patience as we tried to figure out what was wrong and fix the errors.

May 20, 2008 The Spring 2008 issue of the AALT Technician is now available in the Members Only site, and the Spring 2007AALT Journal is now on the AALT public site. The Journal Co-Editors are now accepting articles for the Summer 2008 issue. Submission deadline is July 10, 2008.
